The diya industry has been a hallmark of cultural utility for thousands of years. However, due to our modern homes not being suitable for fire, diyas are on a trajectory to be lost as a tangible artifact of our culture.

What is Akshaya Tritiya

Akshaya Tritiya is one of the important celebrations of Hindus. It falls on the third Tithi or lunar day of Bright Half (Shukla Paksha) of Vaisakha month. In Sanskrit, the word "Akshaya" denotes imperishable, eternal, and never-ending. The word Tritya means three. This day is celebrated as it indicated enormous prosperity and wealth, to be bestowed on all the devotees, who dedicatedly observe this day with piety. Jains also observe this day and forms an important part of their celebration.
